I don't really speak Cherokee. I have just been studying it off and on for a few years. I am also interested in endangered languages and I chose Cherokee because of their writing system. I lived and worked in Japan for many years and I speak Japanese and Russian. I saw that you have a link to cherokee.org on your page. Did you know that they have online Cherokee lessons that are free? The next series will begin next week. Here's the schedule and a link if you are interested. Spring 2018 Semester Class Times:
